Troubleshoot Device Unregistered

The FTD device may have been unregistered from the cloud via FDM.

Perform the following to register the device again on the cloud:

  1. On the Devices & Services page, select the device in the "Device Unregistered" state, and see the error message on the right.
  2. If the unregistered device was onboarded using the registration key, CDO prompts you to generate a new registration key as the previously applied key has expired.
    1. Click the Refresh button to generate a new registration key and then click the Copy icon copy_icon.png .
    2. Log into the FDM of the FTD you want to reregister with CDO.
    3. Under System Settings, click Cloud Services.
    4. In the Cisco Defense Orchestrator area, expand Get Started.
    5. In the Registration Key field, paste the registration key that you generated in CDO.
    6. Click Register and then Accept the Cisco Disclosure. FDM sends the registration request to CDO.
    7. Refresh the Devices & Services page in CDO until you see the device's connectivity state changes to "Read Error".
    8. Click Read Configuration for CDO to read the configuration from the device.
  3. If the unregistered device was onboarded using the serial number, CDO prompts you to auto-enroll the device from FDM.
    1. Log into the FDM of the FTD you want to reregister with CDO.
    2. Under System Settings, click Cloud Services.
    3. Select the Auto-enroll with Tenancy from Cisco Defense Orchestrator option and click Register.
    4. Refresh the Devices & Services page in CDO until you see the device's connectivity state changes to "Read Error".
    5. Click Read Configuration for CDO to read the configuration from the device.
