Troubleshoot Device Unregistered
The FTD device may have been unregistered from the cloud via FDM.
Perform the following to register the device again on the cloud:
- On the Devices & Services page, select the device in the "Device Unregistered" state, and see the error message on the right.
- If the unregistered device was onboarded using the registration key, CDO prompts you to generate a new registration key as the previously applied key has expired.
- Click the Refresh button to generate a new registration key and then click the Copy icon

- Log into the FDM of the FTD you want to reregister with CDO.
- Under System Settings, click Cloud Services.
- In the Cisco Defense Orchestrator area, expand Get Started.
- In the Registration Key field, paste the registration key that you generated in CDO.
- Click Register and then Accept the Cisco Disclosure. FDM sends the registration request to CDO.
- Refresh the Devices & Services page in CDO until you see the device's connectivity state changes to "Read Error".
- Click Read Configuration for CDO to read the configuration from the device.
- Click the Refresh button to generate a new registration key and then click the Copy icon
- If the unregistered device was onboarded using the serial number, CDO prompts you to auto-enroll the device from FDM.
- Log into the FDM of the FTD you want to reregister with CDO.
- Under System Settings, click Cloud Services.
- Select the Auto-enroll with Tenancy from Cisco Defense Orchestrator option and click Register.
- Refresh the Devices & Services page in CDO until you see the device's connectivity state changes to "Read Error".
- Click Read Configuration for CDO to read the configuration from the device.
