Updating Meraki MX Connection Credentials for CDO

Meraki MX devices and templates do not need to connect to CDO using a Secure Device Connector (SDC). If you already have a Meraki MX device or template connected to CDO using an SDC, you can eliminate the connection to the SDC by updating the Meraki's connection credentials.

A result of this procedure will be to create a new connection from your Meraki MX to CDO without using a Secure Device Connector.

  1. From the CDO menu bar, click Devices & Services
  2. Select the Meraki MX devices you want to disconnect from the Secure Device Connector.
  3. In the Device Actions pane, click Update Credentials.
  4. Enter the API key CDO uses to log into the device and click Update. Unless it was changed, this API key is the same credential you used to onboard the Meraki MX. You do not have to deploy these changes to the device.
