Schedule Polling for Device Changes

Customizable Polling

If you have Conflict Detection enabled, or if you Enable the option to auto-accept device changes from the Settings page, CDO polls the device for the default interval to determine if a change has been made to the device's configuration outside of CDO. You can customize how often CDO polls for changes per device. These changes can be applied to more than one device.

If there is no selection configured for a device, the interval is automatically configured for "tenant default".

Note: Customizing the interval per device from the Devices & Services page overrides the polling interval selected as the Default Conflict Detection Interval from the General Settings page.

Schedule Polling

After you enable Conflict Detection from the Devices & Services page or Enable the option to auto-accept device changes from the Settings page, use the following procedure to schedule how often you want CDO to poll your devices:

  1. Open the Devices & Services page.
  2. Select the device or devices for which you want to enable conflict detection.
  3. In the same area as Conflict Detection, click the drop-down menu for Check every and select the desired polling interval:schedule_polling_device.PNG
