Prerequisites for Cisco ISE quick configuration

For ISE quick configuration to succeed, you mst do both of the following as an ISE administrator:

• Enable External RESTful Services (ERS) (read/write), Open API (read/write), and disable the Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) check

  Go to > Administration > System > Settings > API Settings > API Service Settings

  The following figure shows an example.

  

• Slide ERS (Read/Write) to Enabled.

• Enable the certificate authority

  Go to > Administration > System > Certificates > Certificate Authority > Internal CA Settings

  For more information, see Internal CA Settings in the Identity Services Engine administrator guides.
