Create a Service Object

Procedure

Step 1

From the Security Cloud Control Home page, click Firewall.

Step 2

In the left pane, click Objects.

Step 3

Click , then click FTD > Service or ASA > Service.

Step 4

Enter an object name and description.

Step 5

Select Create a service object.

Step 6

Click the Service Type button and select the protocol for which you want to create an object.

Step 7

Enter the information to identify the protocol by taking one of these actions:

  • Enter the specific port number for the TCP or UDP port.

  • Select the ICMP or ICMPv6 message type.

  • If you selected the "other" service type, select one of the TCP/IP protocols from the list.

Step 8

Click Add.

Step 9

Review and deploy now the changes you made, or wait and deploy multiple changes at once.
