Create a virtual router
Create a virtual router to enable network segmentation and manage routing configurations independently within the firewall device.
Virtual routers allow you to segment network traffic and create separate routing domains within a single firewall device, providing enhanced network management and security isolation.
Before you begin
Follow these steps to create a virtual router:

Step 1 | Choose , and edit the Firewall Threat Defense device. | ||
Step 2 | Click Routing. | ||
Step 3 | Click Manage Virtual Routers. | ||
Step 4 | Click Add Virtual Router ( | ||
Step 5 | In the Add Virtual Router box, enter a name and description for the virtual router.

Step 6 | Click Ok. The Routing page appears, displaying the newly created virtual router page. |
The virtual router is successfully created and appears in the routing configuration interface, ready for further configuration.
