Modify an ECMP zone

Use this procedure when you need to make changes to an existing ECMP zone configuration on your device.

Follow these steps to modify an ECMP zone:

Step 1

Choose Devices > Device Management, and edit the Firewall Threat Defense device.

Step 2

Click Routing.

Step 3

Click ECMP.

ECMP zones with their associated interfaces appear.

Step 4

To modify an ECMP zone, click Edit (edit icon) next to the desired ECMP zone. In the Edit ECMP dialog box, you can make changes to the ECMP name or associated interfaces.

  • ECMP Name: Ensure that the ECMP name you enter is unique.

  • Interfaces: Add or remove one or more interfaces as needed.

    Note
    An interface must not belong to more than one ECMP zone, and it should not be linked to an equal-cost static route.

Step 5

Click OK.

Step 6

Click Save.

The ECMP zone shows your updated settings.
