Modify an ECMP zone

Use this procedure when you need to make changes to an existing ECMP zone configuration on your device.

Follow these steps to modify an ECMP zone:

Step 1

Choose Devices > Device Management, and edit the Firewall Threat Defense device.

Step 2

Click Routing.

Step 3

Click ECMP.

ECMP zones with their associated interfaces appear.

Step 4

To modify an ECMP zone, click Edit (edit icon) next to the desired ECMP zone. In the Edit ECMP box, you can make changes to the ECMP name or associated interfaces.

  • ECMP Name: Ensure that the ECMP name you enter is unique.

  • Interfaces: Add or remove one or more interfaces as needed.

    Note
    An interface must not belong to more than one ECMP zone, and it should not be linked to an equal-cost static route.

Step 5

Click OK.

Step 6

Click Save.

The ECMP zone shows your updated settings.
