Configure a Loopback Interface

To add a loopback interface for a device:

Procedure

Step 1

Select Devices > Device Management and click Edit (edit icon) for your threat defense device. The Interfaces page is selected by default.

Step 2

From the Add Interfaces drop-down list, choose Loopback Interface.

Step 3

In the General tab, configure the following parameters:

  1. Name—Enter a name for the loopback interface.

  2. Enabled—Check the check box to enable the loopback interface.

  3. Loopback ID—Enter the loopback ID between 1 to 1024.

  4. Description—Enter a description for the loopback interface.
