Select internal certificate objects

This task enables you to create a decryption rule with a Decrypt - Known Key action by selecting and assigning internal certificates to decrypt server traffic. You can add, manage, and save certificate selections for decryption rules in your configuration.

Use this procedure when configuring decryption rules that require internal certificates to decrypt traffic from specific servers.

Before you begin

To create a decryption rule with a Decrypt - Known Key action, you must add internal certificates for the servers to decrypt traffic. For more information, see Internal certificate objects.

Procedure

Step 1

Click Edit (edit icon) in the field next to the decryption rule Action.

Step 2

In the Select Internal Certificate Objects dialog box, do the following:

Available Certificates list: Click the name of a certificate and click Add to Rule to use it in this rule. You can add one or more certificates to the rule.

Selected Certificates list: Displays internal certificates used in the rule. To remove a certificate, click Delete (delete icon).

Step 3

To save these changes, click OK.
