Sinkhole objects
A sinkhole object is a network security object that
-
represents either a DNS server that gives non-routable addresses for all domain names within the sinkhole
-
can represent an IP address that does not resolve to a server, and
-
requires assignment of both an IPv4 address and an IPv6 address.
Sinkhole object usage in DNS policy rules
You can reference the sinkhole object within a DNS policy rule to redirect matching traffic to the sinkhole.
