VLAN tags

A VLAN tag is a network identifier that

  • represents a single VLAN or a range of VLAN tags,

  • can be grouped with other VLAN tag objects to create tag groups, and

VLAN tag usage

You can use VLAN tag objects and groups in various places in the system’s web interface, such as rules and event searches. For example, you could write an access control rule that applies only to a specific VLAN.
