Change the update frequency for security intelligence feeds

Set the intervals at which Security Intelligence feeds are updated in the system. Adjusting the update frequency ensures that threat data is refreshed according to your organization's needs.

You can specify the intervals at which the Cloud-Delivered Firewall Management Center updates Security Intelligence Feeds.

Before you begin

No explicit prerequisites are stated. Ensure you have access to the system interface where Security Intelligence feeds are managed.

Follow these steps to change the update frequency for Security Intelligence feeds:

Procedure

Step 1

Choose Objects.

Step 2

Expand the Security Intelligence node, then choose the feed type whose frequency you want to change.

The system-provided URL feed is combined with the domain feed under DNS Lists and Feeds.

Step 3

Next to the feed you want to update, click Edit (edit icon).

If View (View button) appears instead, the object belongs to an ancestor domain, or you do not have permission to modify the object.

Step 4

Edit the Update Frequency.

Step 5

Click Save.

The Security Intelligence feed will update at the new interval you specified. The system will retrieve threat data according to the configured frequency.
