Create a label

Create a label in Firewall Management Center to help organize and group access control rules or static objects, making them easier to filter and manage.

Use this task when you need to organize access control rules or static objects by assigning labels for better visibility and filtering within the Firewall Management Center.

Procedure

Step 1

From the Cloud-Delivered Firewall Management Center main menu, choose Objects.

Step 2

Choose Labels from the list of object types.

Step 3

Click Add Label.

Step 4

Enter a name for the label.

Note

The name should be meaningful, contain up to three words, and be no more than 30 characters. Avoid special characters.

Step 5

(Optional) Enter a description to help identify the label’s purpose.

Step 6

Choose a color for the label.

  • The selected color will appear as the label’s background.

  • Preview how the label will look when assigned to items.

Step 7

Click Create.
