Create an unsigned CA certificate and CSR
Create an unsigned CA certificate and generate a certificate signing request (CSR) to enable secure certificate management in Secure Firewall Management Center.
Perform this task when you need to generate a new unsigned CA certificate and CSR, typically for setting up internal certificate authorities or renewing certificates for secure communications. Always complete this task before uploading a signed certificate issued by a certificate authority.
Procedure
Step 1 | Choose . |
Step 2 | Expand the PKI node, and choose Internal CAs. |
Step 3 | Click Generate CA. |
Step 4 | Enter a Name. |
Step 5 | Enter the identification attributes. |
Step 6 | Click Generate CSR. |
Step 7 | Copy the CSR to submit to a CA. |
Step 8 | Click OK. |
