Import a CA certificate and private key

Use this task when you need to add a new internal CA to your Secure Firewall Management Center for certificate management.

Administrators typically perform this task during initial setup or when updating trusted certificate authorities. It is relevant for those managing PKI infrastructure within Secure Firewall Management Center.

Procedure


Step 1

Choose Objects.

Step 2

Expand the PKI node, and choose Internal CAs.

Step 3

Click Import CA.

Step 4

Enter a Name.

Step 5

Above the Certificate Data field, click Browse to upload a DER or PEM-encoded X.509 v3 CA certificate file.

Step 6

Above the Key field, click Browse to upload a DER or PEM-encoded paired private key file.

Step 7

If the uploaded file is password-protected, check the Encrypted, and the password is: check box, and enter the password.

Step 8

Click Save.
